All India Youth Welfare
Full Form of AYW
What is AYW?
All India Youth Welfare (AYW) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the holistic development and empowerment of young people across India. It operates at the grassroots level, focusing on skill training, education, health awareness, and civic engagement for adolescents and young adults. AYW works in collaboration with state governments, educational institutions, and corporate partners to implement programs such as career counseling, leadership workshops, and community service initiatives. The organization was founded to address the unique challenges faced by Indian youth, including unemployment, mental health issues, and lack of access to quality guidance. AYW conducts rural outreach camps and urban centers that provide free mentorship and vocational training. It is particularly active during the summer months and around national youth events. While AYW is not a government body, it receives occasional grants from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. For competitive exams like UPSC and state PSCs, knowledge of major youth welfare organizations is useful in the social development and polity sections. AYW aims to bridge the gap between policy and on-ground impact by nurturing responsible and skilled citizens.
