Telangana State Judiciary
Full Form of TSJ
What is TSJ?
TSJ stands for Telangana State Judiciary, which refers to the judicial system operating under the High Court of Telangana, headquartered in Hyderabad. Established after the formation of Telangana as a separate state in 2014 and the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh High Court in 2019, the Telangana State Judiciary handles civil, criminal, and constitutional cases across district courts, sessions courts, and tribunals spread throughout the state. The TSJ is responsible for delivering justice at the grassroots level, with the Telangana State Judicial Services recruiting civil judges, junior civil judges, and other subordinate judicial officers through competitive examinations conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) and the High Court. Aspirants preparing for TSJ exams focus on subjects like the Indian Penal Code, Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code, and local laws. The judiciary plays a vital role in upholding the rule of law and protecting citizens' rights across Telangana's districts, making it a prestigious career path for law graduates in the state.
