Semiconductor Complex Limited, popularly known as SCL, is an Indian government-owned semiconductor manufacturer headquartered in Mohali, Punjab, near Chandigarh. Established in 1983 under the Department of Space, SCL was conceived as India's pioneer in indigenous semiconductor chip fabrication to reduce the country's dependence on foreign chip imports.
