Full Form of RAH
What is RAH?
RAH, or Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan, is a national mission launched by the Government of India in 2015 under the Ministry of Education (formerly HRD). Its primary goal is to foster a spirit of inquiry, creativity, and innovation among school students, especially in the fields of science and mathematics. The program targets students from Class VI to XII and operates through schools across the country, including those in rural and underserved areas. RAH encourages hands-on learning, project-based activities, and exposure to real-world problems to make education more engaging. It also promotes collaboration between schools, higher education institutions, and industries. The initiative is particularly relevant for competitive exams like CTET, UGC NET, and other teaching eligibility tests, as well as general awareness sections of government exams. By linking school curriculum with local challenges and scientific thinking, RAH aims to build a generation of problem-solvers and innovators. It aligns with the National Education Policy 2020's emphasis on experiential learning and critical thinking.
