What is NOQ?

The National Online Quiz (NOQ) is a pan-India online competitive examination conducted annually by the Ministry of Education to assess general knowledge and analytical skills of students from classes 6 to 12. It is typically held in two stages: a preliminary round via a web portal and a final round hosted at a central venue. Schools across all states participate, and top performers receive certificates and cash awards. The quiz covers topics such as Indian history, geography, science, current affairs, and logical reasoning. It is often used as a benchmark for identifying talented students for other national-level competitions.
