What is NGSO?

NGSO refers to Non-Geostationary Satellite Orbit, a category of satellite orbits that includes Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO). Unlike geostationary satellites that remain fixed relative to Earth at around 36,000 km altitude, NGSO satellites orbit at much lower altitudes, typically between 500 and 2,000 km, and move across the sky relative to a ground observer.
