The Himachal Gramin Jeevan (HGJ) is a comprehensive rural development initiative launched by the Government of Himachal Pradesh to uplift living standards in remote villages. It integrates multiple components such as ensuring access to clean drinking water through piped schemes, constructing household toilets under Swachh Bharat Mission linkages, and establishing primary health sub-centres.
