The Ventromedial Hypothalamus, commonly abbreviated as VMH, is a distinct nucleus located in the mediobasal region of the hypothalamus, playing a crucial role in regulating satiety, energy balance, and glucose homeostasis within the human brain. Often referred to as the satiety center, the VMH receives signals from hormones such as leptin, insulin, and ghrelin, helping the body recognise when it has had enough to eat.
