What is TRA?

The Tea Research Association, commonly known as TRA, is one of the oldest and most prestigious tea research bodies in the world, headquartered at Tocklai in Jorhat, Assam. Established in 1911, the association has played a pivotal role in the development of the Indian tea industry by conducting scientific research on tea cultivation, processing, and quality improvement.
