Face-to-Face
Full Form of FTF
What is FTF?
Face-to-Face (FTF) refers to direct, in-person interaction between two or more individuals without the use of technology or intermediaries. In India, FTF communication has historically been the norm for business meetings, educational classes, government hearings, and social gatherings. It is especially valued in contexts that require trust, negotiation, or emotional connection—such as customer service, interviews, and family discussions. With the rise of digital tools post-2020, FTF interactions have declined, but they remain crucial for high-stakes situations like job interviews, court proceedings, and parliamentary sessions. In Indian education, FTF teaching is still predominant in schools and universities, though hybrid models are emerging. Exam relevance: Soft skills and communication exams often test the advantages and protocols of FTF interaction compared to virtual modes.
